Gall bladder polyp is a condition in which there is thickening in the wall of gall bladder. There is a potential risk of developing cancer. The high risk features are : Size of Gall bladder polyp more than 10mm Associated Gall bladder stones Sessile polyp Increase in size on ultrasound Age more than 60 years These patients should undergo gall bladder removal surgery to avoid risk of developing gall bladder cancer.
